The 2014 Annual Meeting of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine  (ASRM) took place October 18-22 in Honolulu, Hawaii. The meeting’s theme “Surfing the Waves of Change,” focused on not just the challenges, but also exciting new opportunities for development that change within reproductive healthcare can provide. It was truly a global audience in attendance with customers visiting the Cook Medical booth not just from the US but from Canada, Mexico, Columbia, Peru, Turkey, the UK, Russia, China, Japan, Ghana, Nigeria, India, Egypt, Korea, and Malaysia. Over 6,000 attendees registered for the 2014 Scientific Meeting and over 1,000 registrants attended the ASRM 2014 Postgraduate Program. At the booth, our Cook team was represented by (pictured L-R) Sam Goldberg from our Israeli distribution partner Getter Bio-Med Ltd , Cindy Dosen, District Sales Manager, Stephanie Evers, District Sales Manager, Vonda Brabner, Product Manager and Embryologist, and Ted Lloyd-Jones, Field Product Specialist. The team were joined by April Holt representing Caris Medical, our distribution partner on the Hawaiian Islands. We were glad of the opportunity to meet with our customers and conversation centered on genetic testing (PGD), benchtop and timselapse incubators, and the benefits of echogenic needle tips and embryo transfer catheters. We also discussed best practice for embryo transfer and optimal media PH.This year the society embraced social media by setting up a designated Twitter Wall at the venue to screen all meeting-related tweets. We were happy to spot our name up there using the official hashtag: #ASRM2014!
