Why was the ObstiHook created? First, our team focused on the patient’s welfare. The ObstiHook design features a rounded tip and a recessed hook to protect the fetus’ head and the mother’s uterine anatomy.
Secondly, we addressed the physician’s needs by offering added flexibility and control. In a busy environment, a physician can manuever the ObstiHook with one hand. A flexible shaft makes it easier to accommodate challenging anatomies, including posterior cervixes and obtuse cervical angles. A reinforced neck provides added strength to aid insertion, and a ribbed handle provides increased control throughout the procedure. Download a copy of the ObstiHook data sheet here.
