From April 26-30, 2014, the 2014 Annual Clinical Meeting of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) took place at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, Illinois, and attracted over 5,500 attendees. The meeting mainly focused on pelvic risk assessment and cancer screening, so many visited the Cook booth to discuss the Goldstein SonoBiopsy™ Catheter and the Novy Cornual Cannulation Set. At the booth, maternal fetal medicine also proved to be a popular topic. Our team was on hand to talk customers through the Chorionic Villus Sampling Needle Set, in addition to labor and delivery products such as the Cervical Ripening Balloon (with stylet) and the Bakri® Postpartum Balloon. From May 12-17, 2014, our team traveled to Denver, Colorado, to meet with attendees at the American College of Nurse-Midwives 59th Annual Meeting and Exhibition. The aim of this year’s meeting was to evaluate how midwives and nurses can help women’s health to become a priority within mainstream healthcare. At our booth, the most commonly discussed products were the Cervical Ripening Balloon and the Obstihook® Amnion Perforator (pictured above).
