Last November, the Cook Medical team ran a Vista workshop in Jordan for physicians and midwives. Organized in conjunction with Greenland Medical, the workshop was led by Andrea Haynes, field product specialist. It provided over 35 healthcare professionals with the opportunity to learn more about our obstetrics and gynecology product range. Also on hand on the day were Dr. Essam Assella, regional manager, and José Miguel del Rey, field product specialist. Participants enjoyed quizzing the team on the Bakri™ Postpartum and Cervical Ripening balloons, and also valued the opportunity to get a feel for the products with plenty of product models. Meanwhile in Singapore, we ran a Vista workshop that focused on ART. The workshop, “A review of gold standard practice in IVF,” was led by Dr. James Catt with assistance from Jason Spittle, global director of training. The session was attended by embryologists from Australia, China, India, Malaysia, South Korea, Singapore, and Thailand. The workshop ran over two and half days at the Centre for Reproductive Education and Specialist Training (CREST), Singapore. Attendees shared their experience and exchanged information about ART best practice in their country.
