It's about precision.
Zenith Flex was built for precision, combining our most recent innovative advances, such as the new Z-Trak™ Introduction System and new Flex iliac legs, with proven Zenith performance.
precision Delivery
The new ZTrak Introduction System has improved aesthetics and handling and is the key to the precise delivery, positioning and development of Zenith Flex.
Features of the new ZTrak Introduction System:
1. New Captor® Hemostatic Valve
Unique design inhibits blood reflux.
2. Flexor® Introducer Sheath
Kinkresistant technology and PTFEcoated lumen facilitate precise delivery and depolyment.
3. AQ® Hydrophilic Coating
Allows precise delivery by dramatically reducing surface friction.
4. Radiopaque Band
Identifies the precise location of the main-body introducer sheath's distal tip.
5. TriggerWire Release
Allows repositioning of Zenith Flex even when graft is partially deployed.
precision Design
KINK RESISTANCE
Widened gap lengths between rows of stainless steel zstents give the Zenith Flex increased kink resistance. The newly redesigned Flex iliac legs have increased kink resistance as well, with shortened stainless steel zstents in addition to the widened gap lengths.
FIXATION
The Zenith Flex uses anchoring barbs affixed to bare stents on the proximal end to achieve the benchmark for precise suprarenal fixation. In addition, stainless steel zstents along the body of the main graft provide added stability and enhanced grafttovessel apposition, reducing the risk of migration and endoleaks.
MODULARITY
With main-body graft diameters ranging from 2236 mm, along with additional leg lengths, the Zenith Flex system sets the standard for modularity. This versatility expands treatment options so that each Zenith Flex system can be precisely customized for the individual patient.
control Migration
TX2 with Pro-Form continues to offer control after deployment. A combination of barbs, z-stents and durable Zenith materials provides unrivaled graft-to-vessel apposition, avoiding migration within the turbulent aortic arch.
- Proven stainless steel anchoring barbs are placed in a staggered configuration around the proximal and distal ends of the graft.
Controlled clinical trial found not a single reference to barb-related trauma.*
- Self-expanding z-stents provide radial fixation and enable TX2 with Pro-Form to self-adjust to your patient's aortic movement.
- Strong graft material and polyester surgical sutures make up part of TX2 with Pro-Form's durable construction.
