Global vascular specialists gather in NYC to discuss latest advances


New York, NYThe 46th annual VEITHsymposium™ kicks off Tuesday, Nov. 19 through Saturday, Nov. 23, in New York City. This esteemed global conference brings vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, interventional cardiologists, and other vascular specialists together in New York City to hear the latest advances in the treatment of vascular disease.

Pardon the Intervention Returns

This year, Cook Medical revives Pardon the Intervention (PTI), a lively and popular debate-style symposium that will cover some of the biggest challenges and hottest topics in the vascular world. It will take place Tuesday, Nov. 19, through Friday, Nov. 22, in our 2nd floor lounge. PTI will also be shown on the big screen in our 3rd floor pavilion in the Promenade, near the escalators.

Latin America Lunch Symposium

On Thursday, from noon to 1 p.m., 2nd floor Gramercy West at the New York Hilton Midtown, we will bring together global thought leaders to focus on perspectives from South and Central America. This lunch symposium will include presentations on “Hypogastric Preservation – Why is it Necessary and How to Do It” and “Dissection – Disease-specific Approach and Management of Disease Progression.”

Fellowluminaries 10th Anniversary

Also on Thursday, we will be celebrating 10 years of Fellowluminaries from 5-7 p.m. in Sutton Parlor North on the 2nd floor. This annual event showcases fellows as the vascular experts through head-to-head debate with predetermined topics. Come and cheer on these up-and-coming vascular leaders.
