With a company our size, we know it is imperative that we provide opportunities for employees to share their individual experiences and perspectives and to be part of the solution when they have concerns.
Business Resource Groups (BRG) are employee-led, Cook-sponsored groups that have two goals: provide a safe space for everyone at Cook to make connections and influence the business with a viewpoint inclusive of all.
The Ethnic Minorities @ Cook was created to promote engagement between members, allies, and the communities in which we live. This BRG has held annual events highlighting moments of cultural importance, such as Black History Month and Hispanic Heritage Month, inviting employees to share in learning sessions, food celebrations, and more.

The PRIDE @ Cook BRG creates connections between members, the organization, and the larger LGBTQIA+ community, to provide supportive tools and resources for members and allies of the BRG, and to educate the organization. Events led by this BRG include educational meetings and Pride Month celebration lunches.

Cook’s Women’s BRG exists to empower women in all positions throughout Cook to reach their full potential, including working to remove professional barriers, connecting women to support and opportunities, and educating the organization on what it means to be inclusive to women. Women @ Cook has sponsored events such as the Member Speaker Series, co-sponsored events with our Pride and Veterans BRGs, and an annual hygiene product donation drive for I Support the Girls.
