We’re thrilled to offer enteral feeding tubes that not only help patients, but can also make everyday life easier for everyone involved in feeding tube placement and patient care.
We asked Mike Maryan, Gastroenterology Product Manager for our Interventional Radiology division, about the new product line.
What products are included in the Entuit enteral feeding product line?
“We offer the Entuit Thrive Balloon Retention Gastrostomy Feeding tubes in sizes ranging from 12 Fr to 24 Fr, two styles of Entuit Secure Gastrointestinal Suture Anchor Sets (standard and adjustable), and the Entuit Start Initial Placement Gastrostomy set containing all of the essential components needed for the initial placement of gastrostomy tubes, or G-Tubes.”
Why did Cook create the Entuit enteral feeding product line?
“We’ve had enteral feeding products for awhile now, but after listening to patients, caregivers, and doctors, we felt there was more we could be doing. The new Entuit line includes an adjustable suture anchor that allows tension adjustment after placement, and a unique, inline balloon shaft.”
How will these products help patients who rely on a feeding tube for their nutrition?
“The Entuit line of products will help patients by providing durable, high quality products that focus on patient comfort and ease of use. We think that the enteral feeding community will enjoy using these new products.”
