What is it like to live with a feeding tube?

Oley-FeedingTubeLiving2

A feeding tube enables people who can’t eat normally—due to injury, oral cancer, or another short-or long-term illness—to get the food and nutrition they need via a tube fed into the stomach through the abdomen.

To honor Feeding Tube Awareness Week, we are sharing this video of patients who live with a feeding tube, as well as the parent of child with a feeding tube.

You can find detailed information about understanding, using, and caring for a feeding tube at cookfeedingtube.com.
