Meet your host, Dr. Kaufman
John A. Kaufman, MD, MS, is Cook Medical’s chief medical officer and a well-respected interventional radiologist with more than 30 years of clinical, research, and leadership experience. As the past Fredrick S. Keller Chair of the Dotter Department of Interventional Radiology and director of the Dotter Interventional Institute at the Oregon Health and Science University, Dr. Kaufman has contributed to the field through ongoing research in aortic aneurysms, venous disease, vascular malformations, and image-guided therapies. A past president of the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR), he is passionate about education, mentorship, and advancing minimally invasive care. At Cook, Dr. Kaufman uses his deep, clinical insight and patient-first philosophy to guide innovation, strengthen physician collaboration, and inspire advancements in care.
