Bloomington, Ind. — Today, Cook Animal Health, a Cook Medical affiliate, announced its distribution agreement with MILA International, Inc. This agreement, effective immediately, will enable MILA to offer over 100 Cook Medical devices for sale to veterinary clinics and veterinary schools in the U.S.
“For 52 years, Cook Medical’s medical devices have been used to help patients around the world,” said Chris Cochran, vice president of business development for Cook Animal Health. “We’re excited to partner with MILA International to combine our years of expertise in medical devices with MILA’s knowledge of the veterinary field. This is an exciting venture for both Cook Animal Health and MILA International.”
MILA International, a veterinary-only manufacturer and distributor since 1991, serves veterinarians providing critical medical devices for dogs, cats, horses and many other animals. MILA is based in Florence, KY.
“For many years, we’ve admired the work that Cook does in the human medical device space,” said Deni Michels, president of MILA International, Inc. “We’re thrilled that, through this partnership, the same critical medical devices will be brought to the veterinary community.”
