Gina W. shares her diagnoses story and advocates for disease awareness
In an open, honest, and, at times, emotional conversation, Gina W., a national sales manager for Cook, sat down with interviewer Kelly R., a Clinical Training manager for Cook, on the company’s internal Endoscopy Today podcast.
Throughout this intimate conversation, Gina shares her story of a surprising diagnoses that has changed her outlook on life forever. Gina tells about living with stage 4 colorectal cancer, the support she has received from her family, friends, and colleagues, and advocates for awareness and education about this disease.
“I think that the best way for me to help is really just to share my story,” Gina said. “If anybody has questions, please feel free to reach out. I’m happy to share anything and everything with all of you because it’s so important that we are aware.”
