About our training models

ERCP Trainer

• • Replicates pancreaticobiliary anatomy in a physician-designed mechanical model
  • Supports instruction of the multiple endoscope maneuvers in approaching the papilla
  • Introduces ERCP fundamentals and device use with simulation of typical procedural scenarios

General GI Trainer

• • Facilitates hands-on learning in endoscopic procedures such as clipping, band ligation, injection, balloon dilation, and esophageal and duodenal stent placement
  • Offers simulated experiences for device training and supports discussion of procedural techniques

About our courses

Education is at Cook Medical’s core. Our founder, Bill Cook, understood that educating healthcare professionals on our devices is essential to improving patient care. Each Vista Education and Training course is designed and centered on the educational needs of many healthcare professionals, including nurses, technicians, operating room staff, and physicians. Cook Medical offers products for almost 60 clinical specialties, and Vista offers training on many of these products. Courses feature state-of-the-art tools, modern teaching facilities, and e-learning education and training programs delivered on digital platforms, including webinars and tele-education.

In addition to working directly with Cook representatives for your training needs, we offer physician-led educational opportunities through our Vista Education and Training program. This program enables Cook to engage with healthcare professional consultants (HCPC) in order to provide a wide range of valuable services to healthcare professionals (HCP) to facilitate the safe and effective use of Cook products.
